Gluten Free Panettone

I always feel bad about using my blog to vent negativity.
To I shall try to counteract this with a joyful post about a happy discovery!

Sainsburys now stock Gluten Free Panettone!

Unfortunately, I can't review the taste or texture as I'm saving it for Christmas!

But you can read more about this great product here.

  1. Oh YES YES YES! Thanks for that! I've never even tried Panettone - I was GF before I heard of it. I hear it makes an ammmmmazing base for a version of bread and butter pudding!

  2. Thanks Caz. It's comments like yours that keep me blogging! :)

  3. This blog is flipping brilliant! I'm undergoing tests right now to find out if I'm gluten intolerant, (finally possibly diagnosed after years of mouth ulcers) and I've really struggled to find a blog with useful information that isn't full of bizarre American ingredients and brands, thank you so much! I've taken many tips from your blog, which I've read all of :)
Don't know if you've tried the baked goods at M&S? There's an AMAZING chocolate and cherry cake, you would never know it's GF!
Keep up the good workd, I need all the help I can get! x

  4. Thanks Jen!
I'm so glad I could help!
Feel free to ask me anything or make a suggestion for a blog entry if you feel I've missed anything.

  5. Hi Debra! My 12 year old son is coeliac. We bought this panettone last Christmas - after almost bursting into tears of joy after seeing it in Sainsbury's! - and it was really, really scrummy. Great to know it's back in stock this year, thanks for the tip!

    Jane x

  6. Hi Jane,
no problem. Glad that coeliacs are finding the blog and finding it useful!

  7. You bet it is. :-) Great to share info. Loved your website too, by the way!

  8. Hi, I have been looking for this for ages and hoping someone would make one! Christmas will be even better!

  9. Hiya, I stumbled onto your site after googling wheat free panettone as a last chance saloon and "oh my goodness" Thank-you so so much. I am on my way to sainsburys now to collect my 4 pannettones that will now enable me to join in Christmas breakfast for the first time in years and of course, have a trial run before lol. I am loving your blows, so helpful, thank-you and Merry Christmas :o)
