Due to the astronomical price of gluten free bread, I’m often stuck for affordable lunch ideas.
I’ve tried all sorts of lunches to take to work and the only things I find affordable and quick are soup or cereal.
As a result, I’m a soup expert. I can glance at a supermarket shelf of soups and quickly pick out the ones without wheat.
What’s sad is that there are so few of them. So here’s a list of my favourites from the small choice on offer.
- Baxter’s Lentil & Bacon
- Heinz 3 Bean & Smoked Bacon
- Heinz Lancashire Lamb Hotpot
- Heinz Big Soup Beef & Vegetable
- Somerfield fresh Chicken and Sweetcorn
